In the winter of 2016, the lives of two men were tragically cut short in a Detroit basement. Ricardo McFarlin, a 32-year-old male, and former NFL player Robert Eddins were found dead on December 20, 2016, having been shot multiple times in what was described as an execution-style killing. The discovery was made by Eddins' father in the basement of a home on the city's west side.
