Albert Robinson, a 38-year-old African American man and military veteran, tragically lost his life on July 26, 1967, during the Detroit Uprising. Robinson, who worked at Chrysler and resided in Hamtramck, was killed by National Guardsmen who entered his apartment while searching for alleged snipers.
