On November 3, 2014, the body of 21-year-old Demetrius J. Griffin, a Male from Detroit, Michigan, was discovered under harrowing circumstances on the city's west side. Officers were dispatched to a vacant residence on Ohio Street following a tip regarding a potential body at the location. Upon arrival, authorities located the victim inside the home's flooded basement.
