Derrick D’Andre Ruff-Shingles, a 22-year-old from Holland, MI, tragically lost his life on January 5, 2015. The incident occurred in a Holland apartment where Derrick was fatally shot by his acquaintance, 18-year-old Davon Walker. According to investigators, Walker was playing with a loaded .357 handgun when the firearm discharged, resulting in Derrick's death. Walker turned himself in to authorities a few days after the incident.
