Michael Anthony Smith, a 22-year-old aspiring rapper from DeWitt Township, was tragically shot and killed on February 5, 2015, in East Lansing, Michigan. Smith, known by his stage name MichiGunna Mic, was working on his music career and had recently posted several songs online. On the night of his death, Smith was in the Grove Street parking ramp, a location close to the East Lansing police station and popular nightspots.
