On a summer evening in Detroit, Christopher Reed, a 28-year-old man, was with his two young sons in the drive-thru of a Wendy's restaurant on Grand River Avenue. As they waited in their vehicle, their lives were irrevocably changed when a man approached them. The assailant, in a violent and brazen act, shot Christopher Reed multiple times. In the midst of this terrifying assault, one of Reed's sons, a 9-year-old boy, was also struck by a bullet, injuring his hand. The attacker then stole Reed's ...
