On a tragic Sunday morning in Detroit, Michigan, the life of 27-year-old Demetrius Gatson, a male, was cut short in a brutal act of violence. The incident, which unfolded on September 6, 2015, also claimed the life of 33-year-old Khari Smith. A gunman reportedly arrived at a home on the city's east side where Gatson and Smith were present and opened fire.
