In a tragic turn of events stemming from an act of kindness, a 27-year-old Black man, Travis D. Galloway, was shot and killed in his Flint, Michigan home on Friday, September 18, 2015. Galloway had been offering temporary shelter to a homeless man, Daryl Tremaine Tibbs. It was this man who would ultimately be responsible for his death.
