George Assaf, a 66-year-old resident of Flint, Michigan, tragically lost his life on September 22, 2015. Assaf, originally from Syria, was the owner of Stanley's Meat Market in Flint. On the afternoon of his death, he was fatally shot during a robbery at his store.
