On June 21, 2010, at approximately 2:00 a.m., 59-year-old African American male Emmanuel A. Muhammad was fatally stabbed at the intersection of Wood Street and Avenue B in Flint, Michigan. His body was discovered shortly thereafter, but initial investigations yielded few clues, and no immediate suspects were identified.
