Marcus Payne Prevost, 26, male, was shot just after dawn on June 29, 2025, while sitting in a friend’s vehicle near Dana Lane and Woodlin Drive on Flint’s north side. He was gravely wounded in what authorities described as a drive-by attack and was rushed to a local hospital, where he fought for his life for several days before dying from his injuries on July 1, one week before what would have been his 27th birthday.
