In the fading light of a late winter’s day in Flint, Michigan, the life of 18-year-old Deric Wilson II was tragically cut short. On March 5, 2014, Wilson was found shot to death in an apartment on the city's north side, the victim of a senseless act of violence that would eventually lead to the conviction of four other teenagers.
