In the city of Flint, Michigan, a life was tragically cut short on a Tuesday in the late summer of 2023. Daron Devon Richard, a 38-year-old Black male, found himself the victim of a violent encounter on September 12th. The incident, which unfolded in a neighborhood acquainted with the struggles of crime, left Richard with gunshot wounds. He was quickly transported to Hurley Medical Center, but the injuries he sustained proved to be fatal, and he died later that day.
