In the cold of February 2020, the city of Flint, Michigan, was shaken by a grim discovery that marked its first homicides of the year. Winfred Ricky Galloway, a 40-year-old Black man known for his skill in home repairs and his infectious humor, was found dead on February 18th. He was not alone.
