On August 20, 1983, 23-year-old Kristen Casey Gantt was tragically shot and killed while driving his 1969 Ford truck on Highway 127 South in Hickory, North Carolina. The incident occurred at approximately 11:21 p.m., and despite numerous leads over the years, the case remains unsolved.
