On February 21, 2010, Ronald Lester Padgett, 43, was found murdered in Hickory, North Carolina. His body was discovered in the bed of a pickup truck parked in a wooded area off Spencer Road. Authorities believe Padgett, known as "Beer Man," was killed elsewhere before being left at the location. Padgett had been reported missing shortly before his body was found. The investigation remains open, with law enforcement seeking any information that might help solve the case.
