On the evening of February 18, 2023, a dispute outside a liquor store on Miller Road in Flint Township, Michigan, turned fatal for 57-year-old Carl Edward Jones. The Flint resident was shot and killed in an incident that stemmed from a disagreement involving a woman.

Law enforcement officials investigating the shooting quickly identified a suspect. Clifford O'Neal Harvey, a 65-year-old man also from Flint, was taken into custody in connection with Jones's death. The investigation revealed ...
