On a Sunday afternoon in October 2015, 17-year-old Karlos Kelly was shot and killed in Benton Harbor, Michigan. The male teenager was at the Blossom Acres Apartment Complex where he had been playing basketball. An argument, reportedly over money, preceded the fatal encounter. Shortly after the dispute, a car approached and shots were fired, striking Kelly.

Three 18-year-old suspects were quickly identified in connection with the shooting: Anthony Walker, Seddrick Williams, and Daquantarie ...
