Richard Eugene Smith Jr., known to those close to him as "JR," tragically passed away on February 20, 2016, at the age of 53. He was born on June 9, 1962, in Kalamazoo, Michigan, to Richard Eugene Smith Sr. and Wanda Tam (Daniels) Smith.
