Barbara Ann Hawthorne, aged 68, was one of the victims of a tragic shooting spree that occurred on February 20, 2016, in Kalamazoo, Michigan. The incident was perpetrated by Jason Dalton, an Uber driver who went on a murderous rampage, killing six people and critically injuring two others. Hawthorne was among those fatally shot in the Cracker Barrel parking lot in Texas Township, where she had been enjoying an evening out with friends.
