Kion Disheen Cooper, a 32-year-old Black male, was found deceased on the morning of October 23, 2016, in Iroquois Park on the north side of Flint, Michigan. An autopsy would later confirm that he had sustained multiple gunshot wounds. His death was part of a particularly violent weekend in the city, with four homicides occurring within a 48-hour period.
