Dejuan Davis, a 21-year-old resident of Detroit, Michigan, tragically lost his life on January 1, 2017. He was shot and killed alongside his father, 39-year-old Lavar Edwards, in a double homicide that occurred in the early hours of New Year's Day. The incident took place outside their home on Faust Street near Tireman Avenue, where they had been celebrating the New Year with friends and family.
