On March 16, 2023, 13-year-old Craig Patterson was tragically shot and killed on Detroit's east side. The incident occurred in the 13900 block of Frankfort Street, just before 5 p.m. Craig was standing in front of a house with a 17-year-old companion when two teenage suspects approached them and opened fire.
