In the late hours of a Saturday night in Pontiac, Michigan, 27-year-old LeJajuan Hunt was with friends near the Newman Lane Apartments when an exchange of gunfire erupted. The incident, which occurred on October 7, 2017, left Hunt with multiple gunshot wounds. According to investigators, an unknown individual began shooting at Hunt, who then fired back in an apparent attempt to defend himself.
