On a late summer evening in Pontiac, Michigan, a long-simmering dispute between neighbors erupted into deadly violence, claiming the life of 39-year-old Kenrick Keon Lanehart and two others. The incident, which also left a fourth man seriously injured, unfolded on August 26, 2020, at the Carriage Circle Apartment complex. Authorities reported that multiple 911 calls came in around 9:10 p.m. reporting a shooting with multiple victims.
