In the late summer of 2019, the life of Alfred Ramos Cotto, a 66-year-old Hispanic male, came to a violent and unexpected end in Pontiac, Michigan. On August 20th, Mr. Cotto was discovered deceased inside a trailer, having been fatally shot. The discovery sent ripples of concern through the community, leaving friends and family to grapple with the sudden loss of a man who was a father, grandfather, and a veteran of the United States Army.
