In the late hours of a Wednesday evening in Pontiac, Michigan, the life of Donald James Whitfield, a 41-year-old man, was tragically cut short. On February 15, 2023, inside his apartment at the North Hill Farms complex on Fireside Lane, Whitfield was fatally shot in the chest.
Oakland County Sheriff's deputies responded to a call around 10:15 p.m. and discovered Whitfield unconscious on the floor.
