In the spring of 2023, a young Black/African American man's life was cut tragically short in Pontiac, Michigan. Twenty-two-year-old Armani Terrell Baker was discovered in the driver's seat of a vehicle with its doors ajar on April 29th. He had been shot multiple times and was pronounced dead at the scene by authorities who quickly determined his death was a homicide. The investigation into the shooting suggested that Baker was the victim of a robbery that turned fatal.
