Christopher D. Braxton, a 17-year-old male student at Bartram High School in Southwest Philadelphia, was tragically shot and killed on January 26, 2022. He was walking home from school when he was shot once in the chest near the 2300 block of South 66th Street. Despite being rushed to Penn Presbyterian Hospital, he was pronounced dead shortly after arrival. The incident occurred around 2:54 p.m., and the school was placed on lockdown while authorities searched for the shooter.
