In the quiet community of Covert, Michigan, the life of 60-year-old Terese Gorenz came to a tragic end on Thursday, January 18, 2018. She and her husband, Edward Gorenz, also 60, were discovered deceased in their home located in the 72000 block of County Road 376. Authorities from the Covert Township Police Department, the Van Buren County Sheriff's Department, and the Pokagon Tribal Police arrived at the residence after receiving a report of a potentially suicidal individual with a firearm.
