Avery Brye, aged 53, tragically died on February 27, 2018, in Southfield, Michigan, in what authorities have determined to be a murder-suicide. The incident occurred at the Evergreen Meadows Apartment complex, where both Avery Brye and his ex-wife, Dana Brye, were found dead from gunshot wounds. The Southfield Police Department responded to a welfare check call around 11:50 p.m. and discovered Dana Brye, 46, behind the wheel of a vehicle, and Avery Brye lying next to it.
