Jordan Carey, a 29-year-old resident of Muskegon, Michigan, tragically lost his life on April 22, 2018, in a shooting incident. The Muskegon Police Department responded to a call at a home in the 300 block of Merrill Avenue around 7:30 a.m. Upon arrival, officers found Jordan Carey and Mariah Cantu, 25, had been shot. Carey was pronounced dead at the scene, while Cantu was taken to the hospital, treated for her injuries, and later released.
