Dale Cross Sr., a 66-year-old former pastor from Byron Center, Michigan, passed away on August 6, 2018. His death was initially reported as a shooting incident, with his body found on the side of the road near 68th Street SW and Burlingame Avenue SW. The Kent County Sheriff's Office and the Kent County Medical Examiner's Office conducted an investigation into the circumstances surrounding his death. After a thorough examination, authorities ruled his death a suicide.
