In the late afternoon of a Monday in Detroit, Michigan, a family dispute escalated into a tragedy that cut short the life of 28-year-old professional boxer Isiah Jones. On September 19, 2022, at approximately 6:20 p.m., police were called to a residence on Stout Street following reports of a shooting. Upon their arrival, they discovered Jones unresponsive, having sustained a fatal gunshot wound to the face. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
