John Mast, a 47-year-old resident of Stanwood, Michigan, tragically lost his life on the night of October 20, 2018. He was fatally shot outside the Moe-Z-Inn bar in the Village of Morley around 11 p.m. According to the Mecosta County Sheriff’s Office, Mast was shot multiple times and died at the scene. Mast, known as "Amish John" due to his background, was a local contractor and dairy and cattle farmer who was well-regarded in his community.
