Jeffrey Alexander Capers, a 45-year-old man from Trenton, Michigan, was found dead on December 7, 2015, in Lansing, Michigan. His death was the result of a drug deal that turned into a robbery. Capers and his girlfriend had arranged to sell approximately 60 pills of Xanax through Facebook and phone calls. The deal was set up with Jquan Brinkley, a 17-year-old from Lansing, who, along with another individual, planned to rob Capers instead of completing the transaction.
