On a cold January morning in Battle Creek, Michigan, the life of 23-year-old Wendell Daniels was tragically cut short. In the early hours of Sunday, January 27, 2019, an eruption of gunfire shattered the quiet of the city, leaving one man dead and two others wounded. Daniels was identified as the deceased, a victim of the gun violence that had unfolded.
