William "Billy" Buchanan, Jr., aged 33, tragically lost his life on April 16, 2019, in Free Soil Township, Michigan. He was allegedly shot and killed by Cory Beekman, a 32-year-old resident of the same township, at Beekman's home on North US 31. The incident also involved another victim, Katlin Buck, who was shot in the arm but survived. Two children were present in the home during the shooting but were not physically harmed.
