On a late December evening in Saginaw, Michigan, the life of 57-year-old Tracey Bowens, a male resident, was tragically cut short in a burst of gunfire. The shooting, which occurred on Saturday, December 28, 2024, inside a home in the 1900 block of Fairfax Street, also left two women, aged 57 and 59, with critical injuries. When police responded to reports of a possible shooting at the residence, they discovered Bowens deceased at the scene from gunshot wounds.
The investigation into the triple shooting led Saginaw Police to a 31-year-old suspect. His arrest came after police received a complaint about a man harassing someone, which then led to a traffic stop. The suspect was taken into custody and lodged at the Saginaw County Jail.
The alleged shooter was formally charged in connection with the incident. He faces a total of 10 charges, including one count of open murder for the death of Tracey Bowens.
