Marvin Jamie Cortez, a 39-year-old resident of Lansing, Michigan, was tragically shot and killed on the evening of November 9, 2020. The incident occurred in the 300 block of South Holmes Street, where officers responded to a shooting call around 7:35 p.m. Upon arrival, they found Cortez with multiple gunshot wounds.
