In the early evening of a Sunday in Lansing, Michigan, the life of 60-year-old Nelson Pastor Silva-Gonzalez came to a tragic and violent end. On October 26, 2025, at approximately 5:45 p.m., police were dispatched to the 5500 block of South Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard following reports of a shooting. Upon arrival, officers discovered Silva-Gonzalez with a gunshot wound to his chest.
