Timothy Isador Minor, III, a 23-year-old male, was killed in a shooting on May 16, 2021, in Lansing, Michigan. The incident that claimed his life, and that of 22-year-old Kian Maliak Miller, Jr., is being investigated as a double homicide.
On that Sunday afternoon, at approximately 12:37 p.m., Minor and Miller were inside a vehicle in the 4200 block of Burchfield Drive. While they were sitting in the car, a group of individuals who were outside opened fire.
Both Minor and Miller were struck by the gunfire and sustained fatal injuries.
The Lansing Police Department is actively investigating the case, which has been turned over to their Cold Case Unit. Authorities are seeking assistance from the public and have encouraged anyone with information regarding the shooting to come forward. To date, no arrests have been made in connection with the murders, and no suspects have been publicly identified. The investigation remains ongoing as they continue to pursue justice for the two victims.
