In the spring of 2023, the life of 48-year-old Lewis Hill, a male resident of Lansing, Michigan, was tragically cut short in a violent encounter in a downtown park. On the evening of May 7th, Hill was in Reutter Park when he was confronted by two men, sparking an argument that would have fatal consequences. The verbal dispute escalated, culminating in Hill being shot. He was rushed to a local hospital but ultimately succumbed to his injuries.
