On a cold Tuesday evening in Detroit, the life of Jonas Williams was tragically cut short in a sudden act of violence. It was December 8, 2020, at approximately 9:55 p.m., when the male victim stepped out of his residence located in the 3600 block of Wayburn Street on the city's east side. In that moment, an unidentified individual approached him on foot and, without warning, fired multiple shots. The assailant then quickly fled the scene, disappearing into the night.
