Jennifer Filbeck, aged 51, and her husband David Filbeck, aged 53, were found dead in their home in Applegate, Michigan, on December 24, 2020. The couple's deaths were discovered after deputies from the Sanilac County Sheriff Department were dispatched to their residence on Suerwier Road shortly before 11 a.m. on December 26, 2020. The initial investigation revealed that both Jennifer and David died from gunshot wounds, and it was believed that the same firearm was used in both deaths.
