In the early hours of a Tuesday in Jackson, Michigan, the life of 53-year-old Rodney Gene Reynolds was brought to a tragic and violent end. On the morning of February 16, 2021, gunshots echoed near Cascades Park, a well-known local landmark. When police responded to reports of shots fired at Sparks Park, they discovered Reynolds on the ground on the south side of Randolph Street.
