Markeithis Thomas-James Smith, aged 42, tragically lost his life on August 28, 2022, in Jackson, Michigan. Smith was found unresponsive in the street near the Greenwood Food & Beverage Party Store on West Biddle Street around 12:40 a.m. He had suffered a fatal gunshot wound to the head, and medical personnel pronounced him dead at the scene.
