In the winter of 2009, the life of 19-year-old Michael Devon Adams, Jr. was tragically cut short in Jackson, Michigan. A recent graduate of Jackson High School and a student at Jackson Community College, Adams was fatally shot on December 17, 2009. His death, caused by gun violence, sent ripples of grief through his community.
