In the quiet community of Rockport, Kentucky, the life of 28-year-old Matthew Jordan Wallace was tragically cut short on March 6, 2022. A tree trimmer by trade, he was known for his love of riding motorcycles, fishing, and, most of all, spending time with his wife and three children. That day, a 35-year-old man from Sebree, Kentucky, named Aaron McQuady, drove to
Wallace's residence armed with multiple firearms. In an attack captured by surveillance cameras, McQuady opened fire on the home, where multiple families, including children, were present. The barrage of bullets resulted in Matthew Wallace's death and left his brother, Christopher Wallace, with injuries. The violence of that evening sent shockwaves through the close-knit community.
