Phylicia King, aged 36, tragically lost her life on September 12, 2021, in a drive-by shooting on Detroit's east side. The incident occurred during a family gathering to celebrate her grandmother's 95th birthday. The peaceful event turned into a nightmare when a vehicle drove by and someone inside opened fire on the group. Six people were shot in total, but unfortunately, Phylicia King and her aunt, Renae Mitchell, aged 62, did not survive.
